Return Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your school version purchase,
call our Customer Service department at 1-800-321-7511 to receive a RA
(return authorization) number. Clearly mark the outside of the box with
the RA number and include a copy of the invoice or packing slip with your
return. Please send your return back so that it is insured and traceable
via UPS, FedEx Ground, or U.S. Mail prepaid.
There is a limited return policy for Site Licenses of 15 or higher, School
Unlimited Licenses and Network Versions - please call Customer Service
for details. All items must be in resalable condition (packaging and support
materials intact) unless defective.
The online applications of QuickMind.net are one-year renewable subscriptions,
which are not returnable. QuickMind print material that is defective will
be replaced. Call Customer Service for a Return Authorization number (RA).
Password protected books, site licenses, and network versions published
by QuickMind are not returnable. Return policies from non-Sunburst published

Sunburst Preorder Policy
- What is a preorder?
- A preorder is an order for a product prior to its release date.
By preordering you can receive new products soon after Sunburst
releases them. For the estimated release date, check out the Product
Description page.
- When does a preorder get shipped?
- Once Sunburst releases the product we will begin shipping preorders
using the method selected by the customer.
- When am I billed for a preorder?
- You are not billed for preordering a product until after the product
ships.
- How do I cancel my pre-order?
- If you wish to cancel your order just email customer service with
your order confirmation number and ask to have it cancelled. You
can do this by going to the Customer
Service page or emailing service@sunburst.com
International Orders
There will be a 20% Duties and Taxes fee accessed on all International
orders, except those to Canada.
Standard Licensing for Sunburst Products
S ingle-User Version includes one disk or CD-ROM and a teacher's guide.
You receive a license to install the program on one computer at a time.
Teachers and students may use the program from home or other school-approved
off-site locations.
Home Version includes one disk or CD-ROM, typically without a student
management database and classroom print materials or a Teacher's Guide.
These programs were not created for school use.
Lab Packs include 10 CD-ROMs, the license to run the program on the same
number of computers at one school site, and access to download teacher
resources materials or a single copy of a printed Teacher's Guide.
Site Licenses include a complete install CD-ROM or disk and a license
for a set number of installations. Teacher's Guide is included.
School Unlimited License for completely installable programs contains
one disk or CD-ROM, one Teacher's Guides and the license to install the
program on an unlimited number of computers in the school community.
School Pack of 80 is the same as a School Unlimited License for programs
that are not completely installable (CD-ROM must reside in the drive to
run the program). Schools receive 80 CD-ROMs with the license to install
the programs anywhere in the school and a Teacher's Guide. Additional
CD-ROMs can be added to the license for only $12.50 each.
Network License includes an unlimited site license on a single file server
for use on interconnected computers at one school site. A Teacher's Guide
is included or available online. You may purchase stand-alone CD-ROMs
for the network title at $12.50 each. These CD-ROMs carry a School-to-Home
License.
Downloadable Programs for selected SUNBURST titles are available on this
web site. Complete programs including Teacher's Guides can be directly
downloaded to a school computer or server using your credit card. Schools
can purchase downloadable programs in a variety of licenses. Schools can
make a back-up copy of the download.

15 Multi-User Pack includes 15 Install CD-ROMs, the license to run the
program on 15 computers at one school site or school-approved off-site
location, a user manual, a teacher's guide, a reference guide, and a HyperLogo
guide.

Add-On Licenses are PAPER LICENSES. You will receive a PAPER LICENSE.
Should you require more media, you may purchase each additional install

licenses your school owns.
HyperStudio Standard Upgrade Policy
- The school/district must already own a multi-user license to qualify
for upgrade pricing.
- Upgrade licenses are $20 per station license and will be a paper license.
- The school/district must buy at least one install CD for $10.
- The school may buy reference manuals and user/teacher's guides for
$25 each.
- The school may not buy more install CDs than it owns licenses.
